Hi, I’m Daphne!
I am a dot connector who designs with words.
About me
As a UX writer, I advocate for the consumer across all the decision points in their journey, from where and how it begins through its natural end, while managing relevant stakeholders and achieving business goals.
The common thread that unites my work as a systems thinker, storyteller, and strategic MBA—and what I consider my superpower—is connecting the dots: across business needs and strategy, among agile and hybrid teams, and in the ever-critical task of serving both the bigger picture and the granular details.
The sheer variety of my work and life experiences to date provides multiple lenses that inform my work in content design, UX writing, content strategy, and team leadership roles.
Simply put, I light up at the intersection of words and design. Earlier in my career, this meant where text and images combined for layout, whether in print or online. Now it means having followed a more tech-informed user experience over to the product stack. Where the sooner we can light things up, the better.
When I’m not knee-deep in UX writing, I am a part-time professional musician and volunteer end-of-life doula. I'm also a proud member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) and Dancers Over 40.
